Hiking, camping and 4WD in the Mojave Desert, Death Valley and Eastern Sierra

These days I'm driving a Toyota FJ Cruiser on desert dirt roads instead of the 10-ton bicycle of all those years past–and then hiking from there. Things change!

I slept well last night and I'm awake early here at my campsite at Lecyr Well

I like it here and it's quiet. The sun's not up yet, so I think I'll go back to sleep for a while.
